Weed control with diclosulam in soybean

نویسندگان

چکیده

The experiments were conducted in 2017-2018 on soybean (Glycine max L.) three climatic regions of Russia (Altai Region, Krasnodar Region and Astrakhan Region) to evaluate efficacy herbicide diclosulam (WG, 750 g/kg). Treatments included diclosulam: 1) applied preemergence (PRE) - 18.75 37.5 g i.a. ha-1; 2) postemergence (POST) at 1-3 leaves soybeans (BBCH 11-13) 11.25 22.5 ha-1. Monocotyledonous weeds (Echinochloa crusgalli (L.) Beauv. Panicum miliaceum ssp. ruderale (Kitagawa) Tzvelev) had low sensitivity diclosulam. Diclosulam minimum application rate against Fallоpia convolvulus A. Love Solanum nigrum L. was 100%. Adjuvant ethoxylated isodecyl alcohol (EIAb) added increase treatment efficiency Chenopodium album L., Amaranthus retroflexus Ambrosia artemisiifolia Persicaria maculosa S.F. Gray. EIAb with the most effective rate. Application did not cause phytotoxicity 3 cultivars Altom, Bara Vilana. maximum yield after observed 2018 cultivar (+ 9.2 centners per hectare).

Toxic Weed Seed Contaminants in Soybean Processing

Soybeans are subject to potential contamination from toxic weed seeds during harvest, transportation and storage. The more common foreign seeds include those from jimsonweed, cocklebur, nightshade, cowcockle, corncockle, morning glory, castor, pokeweed, and crotalaria. This review addresses itself to the chemistry and toxic principles of these contaminants. Since jimsonweed seeds are probably t...

Weed control in conventional soybean with pendimethalin followed by imazethapyr + imazamox/quizalofop-p-ethyl

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the efficacy of pendimethalin applied pre-emergence (PRE) followed by post-emergence (POST) application of imazethapyr + imazamox/quizalofop-p-ethyl for weed control and their effect on conventional soybean injury, yield attributes, and yield. Field experiments were conducted in 2013 and 2014 in conventional soybean. Herbicide treatments provided ≥9...

Benefits of Precision Farming Technologies for Mechanical Weed Control in Soybean and Sugar Beet—Comparison of Precision Hoeing with Conventional Mechanical Weed Control

Weed infestations and associated yield losses require effective weed control measures in soybean and sugar beet. Besides chemical weed control, mechanical weeding plays an important role in integrated weed management systems. Field experiments were conducted at three locations for soybean in 2013 and 2014 and at four locations for sugar beet in 2014 to investigate if automatic steering technolo...
